    • That makes me very happy Cathy. Thank you for saying so. xx

  1. Brilliant idea, Janine. You could rename the post: Spot the Pot.

    • Cute!!! Thank you Heather. Nothing to compare to your secret garden I know but so nice to know these struck a chord with you too! x

  2. I am about to do my bit by planting pansies on my balcony and the bridge. I might extend it a bit this year to some hanging baskets along the river.

    • Whatever you do will be magic Debra, I know. Your balcony is the green heart of the village!

Oh, so sweet how people decorate their windows!!! Seeing geraniums is always a joy, Janine.

    • People have a talent for making the most of what they’ve got in Italy. And then sharing it with the world. I love that.

Love the textures and shadows of that top pic but any of the flowered pots are welcomed into my wintry world, even if by post. How cheerful! ~ Lily

    • To bring cheer….how wonderful. Thank you dear Lily. Rug up now for Spring awaits. Pots and all. x

  6. It makes me smile to walk around any Italian town and see window boxes filled with flowers. And what about how there’s a garden wherever there’s a little scrap of land!

  7. Oh each of these little pots bring a touch of joy and show the soul of the house they decorate. Love each image especially that first one with the tiny little pot. My brothers house in Camberwell had a toilet on top of one of the chimneys with flowers in it x
