  1. I love this post Janine. You’ve rendered me speechless :-)

    • How funny! Really? You must have a real thing for doorbells too. My personal faves are, of course, the proper old round ones. The bigger the better too! Grazie tesoro x

Such lovely images created from something most of us hardly ever notice. Do you think they all work…??

    • I doubt it Helen, looking at the state of them! But then again that could be said for lots of things in Italy… Thank you for the sweet words, as always too. x

  3. I’m just trying to imagine the different rings that may result. Were you tempted to press and run? :)

    • Far too prim for that sort of thing Ken!!! But nice you should even suspect I might ;-)

Great shots, Janine! When people “ring my bell” in Sicily, it scares the bejesus out of me. (It’s a horrid loud buzzer.) Usually it’s the veggie man announcing his arrival and wondering why I’m not out in the street waiting for him.

    • Jann – you make me smile! Yes well, why wouldn’t you be out on the street just waiting for him to brighten your day? And I know just the sort of buzzer you’ve got there too. A shocker… Bacioni cara, a presto!

  5. Great Idea. Beauty is in the eyes of the beholder.

    • Thanks you!!! You are absolutely right Jan! Just that I manage to see beauty in just about everything Italian! Especially in Italy ;-)

I love that little bronze bell-pull in the circular marble hollow, but best of all is your reflection in the chrome mirror on the scooter in that last shot. :)
