Slow is beautiful

I loved seeing this article in the New York Times a few days ago.  Just that I happen to think 36 hours spent racing around like a mad thing, map in hand, ticking a list kind of defeats the purpose of time out in a place like Perugia.

Happily though, not everyone subscribes to the NYT idea of a good weekend.  Enter Umbria Lovers, quiet champions of the slow and the timeless in Umbria.  I absolutely have to get in touch with these guys as part of my 30 day challenge.  They’re gorgeous!  And if all else fails, this is armchair travel good enough to eat!
