The art of travel

I read a headline today that said travel these days is all about bragging rights. But I think it’s always been that way. It’s what we brag about that’s changing.

Hmm, Janine. Bragging rights don’t sound like a very good motive for travel. (I hope there’s more to it than that for most folks!) I adore your photo–it’s so retro! xxxxxxx

I do agree with you Jann. Swapping stories and experiences is one thing. The very idea that people choose their travel just because it’s the next new frontier and somewhere their friends haven’t been is quite another. I could scarcely believe this little agency wasn’t a page from a book!

Lovely lettering on that sign – and great juxtaposition of the ads below. Man in suit obviously impressed with his winsome window mate!! Another classic, well spotted Janine!

O yes Helen, one for your lovingly trained eye and your way with words… You make me smile. Yes the chap in the suit looks like he might have done some travel bragging in his time too…😉 xx
